1. Introduction

Welcome to shechef. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, platform, and services. By accessing or using shechef, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our service.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our service.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Orders and Payments

Our platform facilitates the ordering of homemade food from independent home chefs. When placing an order:

• All prices are displayed in the local currency and are subject to change without notice.
• Orders are subject to availability and the chef's confirmation.
• Payments can be made via Cash on Delivery (COD) or approved electronic payment methods.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use shechef only for lawful purposes. You must not use the platform in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

5. Home Chefs' Responsibilities

If you are registered as a Home Chef on our platform:

• You must adhere to all local food safety and hygiene regulations.
• You are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and accurate description of the food you offer.
• You agree to prepare and deliver orders in a timely manner as agreed upon with the customer.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall shechef, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
